| 日本産全１種。サンゴ礁のリーフに生息する変わった昆虫で、独特の形態から同定は容易。満潮時にはサンゴの隙間にもぐりこみ、海面下に没して過ごすという。従来日本産種はH. weddi China, 1959とされてきたが、2012年に新種として記載された。 |
