分布：九州（熊本県），南西諸島（沖縄島）；韓国，中国，東南アジア～南アジア

※沖縄島からの新記録

  • 佐々木健志・玉城康高・松村雅史（2025）沖縄島からのオオマダラゲンゴロウ Sandracottus hunteri (Crotch, 1872)の初記録．Fauna Ryukyuana, 77：71-74．

    ※近年の分類学的研究に従いSharp (1884)による日本（熊本県）からの分布記録を採用（ネイチャーガイド日本の水生昆虫初版以降の新知見）
